Rural areas

matter

Rural areas across Europe face similar challenges, demographic change, connectivity, low income and limited access to services while at the same time present a number of opportunities in relation to the environment, food production and unique cultures.

Participants will engage with an online training programme guided by staff from partner organisations and they will have the opportunity to engage in a transnational work placed learning programme.

ProjectInnovation

DIGI-MOB practical learning.

This means, a mix between:

a) digital work-based educational materials which will simulate the real work environment and allow learner to achieve tasks relevant to the Community officer role. The techniques used will be: digital storytelling (characters presenting real world scenarios) and branch scenarios (solving real tasks in an on-line environment) and

b) Work based learning mobility; the learners will participate in a work-based learning mobility to one of the partner countries (Ireland or Romania) where the learners will practice job tasks in a real work environment.
